Executive Consultant

Jeff is an accomplished insurance claims executive with over 40 years of technical, managerial and leadership experience. Throughout his career, Jeff has handled losses and directed staff in multiple lines of business, both domestically and internationally, and has successfully led various complex claims operations and the total claims function for several property-casualty insurers.

Jeff received his B.A from Northwestern University, his M.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. Jeff is a member of the Illinois Bar, completed a Diploma Program in Human Resource Management from New York University School of Continuing Education, and holds the CPCU and ARM professional insurance designations.

Jeff's key previous positions include Vice President, Claims-Legal, for the US branch of Zurich Insurance Company, during which he led staff counsel, panel counsel and the litigation management function. Jeff subsequently worked for AIG, during which he negotiated high profile claims involving multiple member companies, formed and led a specialised construction claims division and successfully marketed it to attract the Boston Tunnel Project, and served as Senior Vice President in Toxic Tort Claims, Asbestos Claims and Reinsurance Claims. Jeff also served as the Global Chief Claims Officer for Starr Companies requiring management and oversight of several hundred employees handling claims from multiple lines of business and locations.

Jeff joined Cranmore US in 2018 as an employee consulting in a number of areas for Cranmore, as well as for external clients and business partners.
